French Vogue's editor, the intransigent, over-the-edge and glorious fashion genious Carine Roitfeld doesn't disappoint us with her incredible taste to decorate her chic Paris apartment.
La intransigente, siempre al límite, glorioso genio de la moda, editora de Vogue París, Carine Roitfeld, abrió las puertas de su departamento en París. Nunca me me decepciona su gusto, y menos cuando se trata de decorar.
I have to admit I though her home would be a little more ... defiant, violent, but actually it is an elegant, traditional and clean French home. I wonder if she really lives in her desk? Because there is a clear lack of furniture here ;)
Tengo que admitir que pensé que su casa sería un poco más... violenta, desafiante a la vista, pero en realidad es una clásica y elegante casa francesa. Me pregunto si en realidad vive en su escritorio, porque faltan muchos muebles en este lugar ;)
The dining room is gorgeous, and the view is just a dream. But to tell you the truth, if I had the opportunity to take a look around this place, the first thing I would photograph is her closet!! The images come from the fab book New Paris Interiors, published by Taschen. What do you guys think? I really wanna hear -read, actually- your thoughts!!
El comedor es precioso, y la vista parece salida de un cuento, pero a decir verdad, si yo fuera a fotografiar su casa, lo primero que buscaría es su closet. Las imágenes vienen de un libro increíble llamado New Paris Interiors, publicado por Taschen. ¿Qué les parece? Quiero escuchar, o mejor dicho leer, su opinión.

No sé, creo que yo sí detecto la violencia en la frialdad del lugar: tanto blanco, paredes desnudas... parece un museo más que una casa habitación!

What a gorgeous home, I'm totally in love with all that French moulding on the walls and the balcony railing. It is kinda surprising how traditional and sparse her home is, but maybe she needs that minimalism as a way to rest her mind after a crazy work day?
No sé, pero no me gustó nada de nada ese estilo...decepcionada? Sí!
