Hola queridos lectores y lectoras, ¿cómo amanecieron el día del libro? Yo muy contenta, con una buena noticia, muy ad hoc con la ocasión. Hace un par de meses mandé mi cuento El cuadro de Allende a un concurso de Sexto Continente y Ediciones Irreverentes en España (visita su página aquí) y fui seleccionada. Les presento la portada del libro Cercanías (aquí), mi primera publicación, que incluye 10 relatos sobre viajes, en español, con autores españoles, argentinos, peruanos y yo desde México (la lista completa aquí). Today is the Book Day, and to celebrate it, here is the cover of my first publication, the short story El cuadro de Allende in the book entitled Cercanías (here), a compilation of 10 short stories by authors from Spain, Argentina, Peru and Mexico with a common subject: traveling. Just fascinating!

En medio de la Revolución Islámica, Azar Nafisi nos muestra un retrato apasionado de la situación de las mujeres en Irán y la manera en que la ficción las ayudó a abrirse un camino en la realidad, al mismo tiempo que desvela los secretos de Lolita de Nabokov, y nos da su particular punto de vista sobre su historia. Verdaderamente fascinante.
