In the middle of the Islamic Revolution, Azar Nafisi gives us a passionate portrait of the situatuation of women in Iran and how fiction helped them find their way into reality while she unveils the secrets of Nabokov's Lolita, and gives her own particular point of view about her story. Just fascinating!

Imagina que tu pequeñito despierta a media noche y te dice que tuvo un "sueño ilegal"; esta es solamente una de las historias de este increíble libro. En medio de la Revolución Islámica, Azar Nafisi nos muestra un retrato apasionado de la situación de las mujeres en Irán y la manera en que la ficción las ayudó a abrirse un camino en la realidad, al mismo tiempo que desvela los secretos de Lolita de Nabokov, y nos da su particular punto de vista sobre su historia. Verdaderamente fascinante.

Hello dear readers, I hope you are having a great year already!! I am, I'm really happy lately, I think the new year is a great oportunity to start over. That also translates into my blog, this year, I'm gonna try a new project: 365: A picture a day. Yes, I'm gonna try to post a picture everyday (if possible), of what? Of the things I love, amazing decor ideas, beautiful shops, awesome styles, the sky is the limit. What do you think? Hola queridos lectores y lectoras, espero que ya estén teniendo un gran año. Yo sí, últimamente tengo muy buen ánimo, creo que un nuevo año es una oportunidad para volver a empezar. Esto también se traduce a mi blog, ásí que este año les tengo un nuevo proyecto: 365: A picture a day. Sí, trataré de subir una foto a diario (en la medida de lo posible), ¿de qué? De las cosas que me gustan, hermosas ideas de decoración, tiendas lindas, estilos increíbles, el cielo es el límite. ¿Qué les parece esta idea? We were taking a long walk downtown (in Mexico City), only Celso, Holga (his lomo camera ;) and myself, a perfect trío, when he took this great pic of Bellas Artes.
